Contest Rules

This motorcycle raffle and fundraiser is conducted by Classic Motor Museum of St. Michaels, Inc. herein referred to as “CMM”.  All proceeds from the entries will benefit the non-profit organization Classic Motor Museum, a 501 (c)(3) organization chartered by the state of Maryland.

§ 1. 0 ELIGIBILITY: You must be 18 years of age to enter. Paid employees including, but not limited to, board of directors, employees, and contractors of CMM along with members of their households, are not eligible to participate.

§ 2.0 FUNDRAISER DONATIONS: The raffle ticket price is not tax deductible as a contribution to the Classic Motor Museum. The cost of a raffle ticket is priced at (1) ticket for $10, (3) tickets for $20, (7) tickets for $50, (16) tickets for $100, (37) tickets for $200 (48) tickets for $250.

2.1 CMM reserves the right to offer additional multi-entry purchase discounts through other applicable promotions. There is no maximum number of entries an individual may purchase. Only official donation entries will be accepted. There is no limit to how many total entries the CMM Museum can print and sell. Odds of winning are determined only by the total number of entries sold. Entries may be made via the CMM website at WheelsThroughTime.com or by phone at (410)745-8979. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the CMM Museum and at certain events at which CMM is present.

§ 3.0 ENTRY SCHEDULE: The CMM 2022 Raffle will commence on January 1st, 2022 when entries were first promoted and then became available. CMM reserves the right to run ticket promotions throughout the year and reserves the right to end any promotions at any time.  The random drawing will take place on Monday, September 4th, 2022 at 5PM EST.  All electronic entries on the Museum website, must be received at the Museum by September 4th, 2022 at 10:00 AM EST.  All raffle winning decisions are final.

§ 4.0 RECEIPT OF PRIZE:   The winner does not need to be present to win. The winner agrees to arrange for removal of the Grand Prize by September 31, 2022. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Grand Prize which will then be awarded to alternate ticket holder, No. 2, then No. 3.  The winner is responsible for transportation and delivery of the Grand Prize Motorcycle.  The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes and fees including state and federal sales or income tax where applicable. CMM will comply with all applicable tax requirements, including reporting and withholding requirements. CMM will provide applicable tax forms to the winner of the raffle and report the prize to the IRS. CMM will not be responsible to collect the required withholdings upon the transfer of title of the automobile to the winner and remit to the appropriate authorities.

§ 5.0 GRAND PRIZE: The Grand Prize is a 1972 Triumph Motorcycle. The winner will be contacted by telephone and e-mail as to his or her winnings immediately following the drawing. Winners will also be announced via the CMM website, and broadcast on Facebook and other social media outlets.

§ 6.0 ENTRY LAWS:  The CMM 2022 Raffle is subject to all applicable laws, state or federal and is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. Entrants to this fundraiser are responsible for compliance with all such laws and regulations based on their age, place of residence, etc.  The winners of the Grand Prize release Classic Motor Museum, its stake holders and Board of Directors as well as any related project sponsors and builders from any responsibility or liability in connection with any loss, accident or death incurred with the use of this prize.

§ 7.0 ENTRY RULES: It is CMM’s right to amend, revise and interpret the Raffle Rules as it may see fit. It is expected that by donating money for an entry ticket, entrants will hold to the rules of entering as presented here.
